Educational technology or EdTech is the study and ethical practice of facilitating, learning and improving performance by creating, using and managing appropriate technological processes and resources. EdTech can involve a wide range of things like learning management systems, digital tools and media, information and communications technology (ICT) or even tech infrastructure in a school which involves the Wi-Fi the devices that the students and teachers are using and data privacy and security. There can be three broad EdTech learning theories: a) behaviorism, b) cognitivism and c) constructivism; each of these theories provide different perspectives on teaching and learning.
EdTech has a number of advantages that allow technology giants to be successful in today’s market. One of these advantages is the reduction of time spent on education and the consumption of resources. They have earned BDT 275,000 by funding and is considering to enlarge their horizon beyond the general prospectus.

Eshkul:
It is a cloud platform-based management system where they don’t directly act like an educational platform. They work to make the process easier for engaging students in an online platform. They have two parts, first one is student portal and the other one is school ERP. They also provide e-learning service where schools and also teachers can develop their visual aids as a part of the study material for their syllabus. This application is both available for iOS and Android platforms. It is a one-stop clarification for all kind of digital necessities of schools and teachers.
Admission Ninja:
Admission exam is one of the most competitive exams in Bangladesh. For University entrance everyday almost half a million people sits. These exams are very hard to pass. The main motive of admission ninja is to ease the preparation process for these examinations through their platform. They provide study material, admission notice, model tests many other facilities by their app and its totally free of cost. Android and iOS both users can use this app.
Upskill:
It is a platform which work’s as like Coursera, except upskill is all about peer-to peer knowledge sharing. Skilled person shares their specific skillset with the world through this platform. Sign up is free for everyone they can undertake any courses. Any person easily can gain new skills and also share their own experience. It is a great initiative from the traditional learning scopes and incorporating online facilities. The most common gripes of our country is student’s access to quality education. The students who reside in rural area doesn’t have the same facility for education compared to city students. Classroom is basically an app which was developed to bridge this gap. They offer comprehensive solution to curriculum related problems from class eight up to graduation. 10 Minutes School:
In Bangladesh, 10 minutes school is one of the most successful ed-tech startups. This was founded by Mr. Ayman Sadiq in 2014 and they offer a range of course modules and solution of curriculum-based studies in the form of 10 minutes learning. They have also incorporated skill-based learnings making it an effective platform for all age’s students over the years. The course modules are not limited to NCTB curriculum any longer, there are available module for higher studies and various skill certification exams. 10 minutes school has established a beacon in converting and digitizing the sector of Bangladesh.

Esho Shikhi:
For the SSC, HSC and admission level students, Esho Shikhi Limited ensures quality education. This app-based learning system was established in 2016 and has a good number of coursed based on subjects for each level. To track the educational progress and check the preparation for exam is main movement of this app. One can access to the solution manual and model tests for better preparation for exams and admission tests. In this app some courses are free of cost and some are paid. This app is a great source for students to access better resource material on online and prepare themselves for examinations.

Shikkhok:
It is a platform which work for develop disadvantages students by providing them access to resource materials and study guideline, founded in 2012 by Mr. Ragib Hasan. Their motto is that education should be free for all. They are effectively working to eradicate the quality education gap that exists between the urban and rural areas.
e-Shikhon:
One of the earliest online education startups in Bangladesh is e-Shikhon. Their main intention is to generate skill for people. This is a website-based platform which has the largest range of courses with a minimum fee. Previously they had limited scope ot generate soft skills for professionals but now a days they have volunteered into the traditional curriculum and providing admission as well job exam support.
AlterYouth:
In a developing country like Bangladesh children’s are forced to take the wheel of family at an early age so many of them have to compromise their studies. Another issue is parents give marriage of their girl children at very early age and most of them cannot continue the study for family pressure and many other issues. AlterYouth is working in these sectors to support these students in need by many types of scholarship. Any individual can finance a student’s education by this platform. Their main motive is to make sure no one remains illiterate.

EdTech objectives is to adopt the best teaching approaches that compliment effective and meaningful integration of technology.
